1.10. Electric equipment
System of ignition
The electronic system of ignition provides higher energy of sparking in comparison with usual contact system of ignition. Therefore be careful to touch wires and blocks of system of ignition.
Block of electric safety locks
The block of fuses is located under a cover to the right of a steering column (fig. 1.122).
Information on purpose of safety locks is given in inside of a cover (about the protected chains).
Safety lock
To replace the fused safety lock, open a cover and take a safety lock from a nest.
The faulty safety lock can be distinguished visually on the fused wire (fig. 1.123). The new safety lock should be established instead of fused only after the cause of defect is defined and removed. Color of a safety lock depending on rated current: 10 A – red; 20 A – yellow; 30 A – green. It is allowed to use only standard electric safety locks calculated at a certain size of rated current. The size of rated current is specified on the case of each safety lock. In the block of safety locks there are spare safety locks of various face value.

Do not touch with hands a glass flask of a halogen lamp. Fatty traces from fingers form rather dense film which reduces lamp light brightness when heating a flask. At casual pollution of a flask wipe it with a piece of any lint-free fabric moistened in ethyl alcohol or white spirit.
PREVENTION
Adjustment of the direction of light bunches of headlights is operation, very responsible from the point of view of traffic safety. Therefore adjustment of headlights should be carried out only at the service stations having the special equipment and qualified personnel.
