|
1. Through the lower hose merge cooling liquid from a radiator (fig. 4.8).
2. Remove the top hose.
3. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the case of the thermostat.
4. Remove the thermostat (fig. 4.9). Clear sealing surfaces on a head and the case of the thermostat.
Installation
1. Install the thermostat.
2. Install the thermostat case with a new sealing ring and fix by bolts, having tightened their moment 10 N • m.
3. Connect cooling system hoses.
4. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
The radiator fan with the electric drive
Removal
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Disconnect a plait of wires from a casing of the fan and the electric motor.
Fig. 4.10. The radiator fan with the electric drive: 1 – radiator fan; 2 – radiator; 3 – bolts; 4 – casing
|
3. Turn out bolts of fastening of a casing to a radiator (fig. 4.10).
4. Remove the radiator fan with a casing.
PREVENTION
If blades of a krylchatka of the fan are damaged or bent, they are not subject to repair and further use. The damaged or deformed knot of the fan has to be replaced with new knot.
For operation of the fan its balancing which cannot be guaranteed at repair of a krylchatka of the fan is extremely important.
Incorrectly balanced fan of a radiator can collapse and scatter on a part at continuation of its operation that can create very dangerous situation.
For minimization of air circulation around the fan and the direction of a stream of air directly on the engine the fan is supplied with a casing.
Installation
1. Install the fan of a radiator and a casing of the fan.
2. Screw bolts of fastening of a casing to a radiator.
3. Connect a plait of wires to a casing of the fan and the electric motor.
4. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the rechargeable battery.
Water pump
Removal
1. Through the lower hose merge cooling liquid from a radiator.
2. Remove a forward casing of a gear belt.
3. Take off a gear belt.
4. Remove the lower back casing of a gear belt.
5. Remove the water pump. Clear the privalochny surfaces of the water pump and block of cylinders.
Installation
1. Install the water pump and fix by bolts, having tightened their moment 8 N • m (fig. 4.11).
PREVENTION
Apply dense lubricant on privalochny surfaces and on a new sealing ring (fig. 4.12).
2. Establish the lower back casing of a gear belt.
3. Establish a gear belt.
4. Establish a forward casing of a gear belt.
5. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
Broad tank
Removal
1. Disconnect hoses from a broad tank (fig. 4.13).
2. Turn out screws and remove a broad tank. Wash out a broad tank and a stopper water with soap.
Installation
1. Install a broad tank on the car and fix by screws.
2. Connect hoses to a broad tank.
3. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
Radiator
Removal
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery.
2. Partially merge cooling liquid through the lower hose of a radiator and remove a hose.
3. Disconnect a hose from a broad tank (fig. 4.14).
4. Disconnect the top hose of a radiator.
5. Disconnect wires from:
– the radiator fan with the electric drive;
– sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
6. Turn out bolts of fastening of a radiator to arms.
7. Remove a radiator.
8. Remove a fan casing with the fan.
PREVENTION
The radiator remains half filled with cooling liquid.
Installation
1. Install the fan with a casing to a radiator.
2. Establish a radiator and fix it by bolts.
3. Connect wires to:
– to the radiator fan with the electric drive;
– to the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
4. Connect the lower hose of a radiator.
5. Connect a hose to a broad tank.
6. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
PREVENTION
When filling cooling liquid remove from it air through connection of the top hose. You hold the top hose with a hand until liquid level in a radiator does not reach the top hose.
7. Connect the top hose of a radiator.
8. Add cooling liquid in a broad tank to a tag.
